CUBANISMO

On October 29, 2009 the Music Department had a fundraising concert at Grand Old House entitled "Cubanismo". A Cuban percussionist came to give a concert with the proceeds going towards the Music Department. Some of our students were the opening act for this show!

Thanks to Aija Ebanks, Janice Forbes, Chioma Nwaefulu, Azuka Obi, Brooke Seymour and Marika Scotland for taking time during the mid-term break to perform. Even past student David Forbes came and added his trumpet to the mix. Everyone did an excellent job and should be very proud of themselves. They enjoyed a pasta meal afterwards while listening to the concert. Thank you to the parents for bringing them to extra rehearsals!
